Does this mean I don’t have to use a workaround to launch Xbox GamePass games via Moonlight on my Steam Link?

Not answering your question but I’d suggest streaming with Sunshine/Moonlight if you have a device that supports it. I found it gets much better results than with a Steam Link.

Ive been switching between moonlight and parsec from my phone to access my VM and I like that moonlight lets me use windows shortcuts but the mouse feels really strange and the quality seems to drop a lot more often compared to parsec

Right now I’m running Moonlight on my Steam Link and launching Notepad on Moonlight and that works well.
It works well. I had an issue running the Steam Link app on my TV, but maybe Moonlight could work better there?

Probably worth a shot. I’ve used it on a Chromecast and a Shield TV and it works well on both. It’s [Sunshine]github.com/LizardByte/Sunshine) on the PC that’s doing the heavy lifting so I’d use that over Steam’s solution.
TBH I didn’t even know a Link supported Moonlight.

I’ll take a look, thanks! I found some package someone came up with to install Moonlink on the Steam Link, it’s been very useful for playing GamePass games and emulated games. I’ve read it works better for Steam games too but I haven’t tried that yet.
