Warl0k3@lemmy.world 1 month agoIt’s a meaningless meme - if you remember the early days of “yeet” it’s lot like that. People started sticking the number around as an in-joke, but it’s gone super mainstream and now it’s just a goofy thing to do.

It does now, yes. Early days of yeet did not have a definition - “that’s one Yeety Boi” as an example - it was just a word you’d substitute in place of any other word for meme reasons.
