HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 2 weeks agoit might have just been me, but when i streamed the movie it looked about 20fps instead of the standard !<24. gave it a neat, stylized pseudo stopmotion look, but after half an hour of watching (and a few years in a stopmotion studio) i got rather tired of it.

The movie itself was fine, I wasn’t blown away by it. Idk about your animation issues, but I thought the animation was fun as heck. For a movie experience I’d probably give it like 6.5-7/10. Again, a fine movie… nothing really groundbreaking in terms of story telling and writing. The magic is all in the music and the characters, I think. Which cuts to the core of KPop fandom, I think.
