Ranting about how the spring cleaning list just grows.
Fucksake. Iāve been really good about airing my place out regularly, but thereās one set of windows and blinds I donāt open due to privacy and just saw mould has secretly grown behind there. So this means at some point I have to clean all that with vinegar and paper towel then soak it in Conchrobium. (Thankfully I bought a jug of concentrate.) Then buy some net curtains to block the view of inside while I occasionally raise the blind to keep the damp at bay. I canāt drill holes because 1. metal frame 2. and 2. even if it wasnāt I am not spacking it back up and prising out a chip of gloss paint to get it matched when I move. So I either need to get a tension rod long enough to span it or use command hooks and hope thereās no drama or residue on removal. I want to get my bond back. Thereās a conduit rod at Spotlight with spring ends attachments I assume you just bung on? This would look neater but Iāll have to measure and see if one of the available lengths is enough. If not itās the sticky hooks. Iāll have to check another risky window while Iām at it. I could just clean them and throw a disposable moisture absorber tub behind there. Already did that before. But they fill up so fast and then I forget to buy more.

Those expandy rods are awesome, bunnings sells them too. You can get from 80cm to about 2m.
Do you get enough sunlight in that window to bung in a cheap solar powered fan? A charcoal bag would also help

Itās 2m, but a friend just gave me a good suggestion about putting command hooks on sideways and running them along a curtain wire.
Iām a bit leery both of the sticking power and potential damage because of the crap gloss paint on the frame/trim but it does work out a lot cheaper than what I was going to do.
Unfortunately thereās not a lot of sunlight in that window and I canāt leave it open. Iād only even have the blind open under duress as the cheapest options are sheer curtains that hide less than lace, and a lot of sus looky lous go past.
Charcoal bags are a good idea, I know chalk bundles are easily accessible and eco friendly but donāt seem very powerful. I could also just buy the generic disposable moisture tubs (bad but cheaper than refilling brand). I considered a dehumidifier but thatās more spendy and clutter

these are what you're after

I literally hang washing on this every week, multiple heavy jackets, even bedding on coil hangers. Theyāre pillar IIRC, and from bunnings (one of those bastard things you KNOW they have in-store, but theyāre not on the site). Punkin used to also hang off the bedding on occasion. Theyāre solid af.

Thatās what I was originally looking for but youāre right, they werenāt showing up on the site
