boonhet@sopuli.xyz 1 month agoNothing in modern society works without computers, so everything will get a bit more expensive with DRAM and NAND chips multiplying in price. Hell, wages may go down at low margin businesses dependent on computing.

I have a rule that I will double RAM with each generation. I had 8GB of DDR2, then 16GB of DDR3. You can guess where I went with DDR4.
Looks like I’m not getting 64GB this year.

Got 64GB DDR5 earlier this year. I went to check the price of the kit recently and it’s up to $800. Shit’s insane.
