HurricaneLiz@lemmy.world 2 days agoPsychosis projected outwards maybe. Although I did get thrown against a wall and strangled by an invisible force at age 18 when my roommate and her friends were using a ouiji board, so there’s that.
I also psyched myself into remembering magic stuff when I was an impressionable child and visited friends who are into Reiki.
They’re all hardcore covid deniers and generally conspiracy nuts now, so good thing we didn’t continue forcing ourselves to deny reality in favor of woo.
Maybe it was just invisible to you because you couldn’t see properly at the moment.
