But I don’t even know what that means. Hell, in the past I even used soap bar for the hair.
My father apparently used to get his hair complimented, he used apparently used the fucking laundry detergent.

If you’re talking about a “large patch of psoriasis” that is apparently always on your skin and don’t know the first thing about cleaning and moisturizing products for your hair and skin, it might be worth exploring whether your psoriasis is aggravated by certain substances (including your hair touching your skin) and can be mitigated by consciously avoiding certain products/ingredients.

It doesn’t really seem to be affected by anything much. Prescription corticosteroids made it mostly go away for a while, but it returned larger. Birch tar shampoo helped with the itch, but people around me very clearly didn’t like when I used it. I don’t know if I am the only weird person liking the smell of burnt wood, but yeah, it’s quite strong.

Find out what your hair ‘needs’. Is it dry and kinda straw like? Are the tips frayed? Does it poof up? Does it frizz, ie are there many stray hairs flying around?
In general though, hydrating shampoo helps with growing out unless you have suuuuper oily hair, in which case you should use a clarifying shampoo, but only rub it onto your scalp.
