I’ve spent a lot of time around dogs, even bonded with an liked a few. Still a very distinctly different feeling than human affection for me, and still doesn’t help me understand for the uncanny glee people get at the mere sight of a dog. 🤷‍♂️ I don’t know if I’m broken, but this seems to be something that’s just outside my understanding
