      It’s none of my biz and I hope I’m not being intrusive… but would it be an option to buy an electric hotplate and/or an electric frying pan rather than use the stove?

      The idea of no safety valve is haunting me

        Thank you for your concern. I do already own a plug in induction plate. This was total human clumsiness, and not bad enough to set off the detectors, just our noses.
