standand down hinge door, cupboard to the left is under the sink, cupboard to the right is small appliances.
Weâre eventually going to gut and redo the kitchen, itâs the only place we can fit the dishwasher atm. We can live with sometimes having to put dishes on the bench and close the machine before putting them away - our previous dishwasher is a benchtop that lived in the frigginâ laundry out the back :P

I am all in favour of vertical storage for flat items - saves so much space.
