Reddit hosts the cool stuff like experiments, demos, e.g. indie metaverse projects, DIY stuff, drones etc. Even though I am banned from Reddit, I still keep a feed from those subs. They are quite innovative
The only comparable place to find experimental things like this would be github.... which is now owned by Pedo Gates' Microsucks

Ill be migrating to Gitea for every thing soon. They just got activity pub to work so its joining the fediverse. I've got hundreds of github projects on my real life profile I'll have to migrate.

You heard about the open source dev, who poisoned his packages for npm ? Color.js author ? He was protesting that he never gets paid to maintain, while huge companies make big $$ from his work. Github deleted his entire account and took over all his projects.......

That's crazy. No I never heard about it. But if he didn't want them to use his code he could have made a license that said they needed to pay him money.

Its still his repo and code. He can make whatever change he feels like. Big Brother didn't like that, so they just stole his shit
