Comment on what country would you never go to again?
cornshark@lemmy.world 1 week agoI’m really curious about your experience! I’ve been to both and from my experience Australia was a dry boring desert as far as the eye can see with kangaroos, and NZ was like stepping into LotR. Did I see the wrong parts?

You’re right about that, and if I ever do go back, that will be why! But the sameness I was talking about is more the cultural identities of the countries. Every place we stayed felt like it could be transplanted to Australia, and fit right in. It might be different if I wasn’t Australian :)
