Comment on £6 million repaid to workers as Government cracks down on employers underpaying their staff
Corporal_Punishment@feddit.uk 2 weeks agoThe trouble with the likes of Uber etc is they claim that the people working for them are technically self employed and thus not entitled to NMW.
I know there was a court case a few years ago about the worker’s status but I’ve not really been familiar with the issues since I worked for HMRC
