Well western/European honeybees are kept for farming and pollination, but they do have feral hives in the bush. Hard to know if it was part of a commercial hive or feral, but I lean to feral.

While they do push out our native species, they also pollinate our native plants too, so it’s a grey area.

I try to avoid killing any bees, as a personal rule, because without them we’d all starve, and the global bee population is endangered
