I think youâre right that itâs a western/European honeybee www.aussiebee.com.au/feral-bees.html

Friend or foe you reckon?
Well western/European honeybees are kept for farming and pollination, but they do have feral hives in the bush. Hard to know if it was part of a commercial hive or feral, but I lean to feral.
While they do push out our native species, they also pollinate our native plants too, so itâs a grey area.
I try to avoid killing any bees, as a personal rule, because without them weâd all starve, and the global bee population is endangered
Yeah Iâd usually leave them alone too but this one was on my curtain inside my house so I figure itâs fair game. Next time Iâll try and catch and release it. Thanks for all the info.
