That’s surprisingly similar to my experience! I played the original a handful of times when it immediately released but never beat 2 because it came out at a time when I was busy.

Somehow I did end up playing a bit of Death of the Outsider and really enjoyed what I saw, I should revisit the series to give them a fair chance
