Taleya@aussie.zone 1 week agoWe have a pc permanently slaved to the tv, and since the ADHD diagnosis His Lordship is being a lot more open about his hardships. Finding files on the fileserver? Headfuck. So i built a netflix-like kodi interface and he’s taken to it like a duck to water. I keep refining it to make life easier for him.
The user profile name is currently “Poonhandler McGee”, i need to put a new one in. Shaggins Fartwaffle? Purseslapper Jones? Peter Gangbiscuit?

Kind of but not. I did like…a lot of fucking around as it likes things in A Certain Naming Convention that runs completely counter to how i like things and its my fucking fileserver and i will not bow to the machine.
Definitely broke a few laws of god and man getting it working, but my husband, he is pleasured.
And running a marathon of The Nanny. No, idk why.

I think I get what you mean, it sounds cool and you’re a sweetheart to do it for him 😊
( I personally hate the apple tv app with every fibre of my being, husband likes it because it’s easy to set up but of course that means complicated to use )
I’m the reverse, I will make great effort to make things easy to use. Fewest iterations is my goal.
