I think you have your dates mixed up. 2001 sales were down a good bit, so after the attack. 2002 sales was the big dip.

Maybe the winter holiday sale would normaly be substantial and therefore had a over proportional impact. 2002 was the more significant drop though.

I think that is because many people buy Jenga as a christmas present, which are usually bought after september.

The sales dip is also less than 25 percent. If you assume constant sales through the year, the timing is also reasonable.
