jaschen306@sh.itjust.works 2 weeks agoIts coo coo crazy how much people here believes it here. This morning I saw a row of businesses, about 8 store fronts, was outside praying and burning “spirit money”. Employees are forced to pray as well.

That’s nuts, that’s like one of those examples that’s either “ppl coming together in a sense of community and bonding” or “being trapped in forced servitude to the societal expectations around you.” Depends on the person experiencing it what it feels like ig. I never understood the forcing ppl to pray, like “you know that’s not how that works, right?” Performative time wasters 😂
