I wasnt really aware of Moomin until meeting my Finnish sister in law, so I dont have the deep roots to the 90 cartoon.

The 90’s one was made by studio Ghibli. I had already been exposed to some of the books so I loved the series when it came out. But watching it in English doesn’t work for me either, lol.
