There was coordination between members of the campaign (people like Paul manafort). Polling data from swing states was shared with known Russian actors which would help them target areas with “information.”
Again playing with words, Bill Bar jumped out in front of the release of the report to get the media focused on “no collusion no collusion!” and then when the report came out it showed there were some forms of coordination, but because the word collusion wasn’t used the Trump team spun it to sound as if nothing happened. Republicans sure are bent out of shape over a supposedly biased DOJ when it’s a Democrat in office, but this is two Republican administrations one after the other that the DOJ is working for Trump’s personal protection…
But what we have is polling data from swing states here… This is not exactly hacked or highly secretive information, it differs only in that it has become suspicious because people providing it have Russian names and such.
That’s not all it was about, that was just one example I happened to remember off the top of my head. I didn’t feel like going back and reading the whole report again to give more examples to be honest.
And that’s fair - even when I made my comment I thought… “Geez, do I really want to revisit this…?!”
So we can end it there.
But… FAIR WARNING TO ALL OF US… It may be a big topic again soon.
I respect you and your positions but I just am always open to the idea that “the government sucks, they are not working for our best interests; they are doing an inadequate job.” This is true for both left/right.

All human institutions fail us.
