I couldn’t even tell what they meant by that panel, lol. My first thought was the “non-gmo” labeled sea salt I saw once that blew my mind.

This is how people move the needle towards harmful conspiracy. Bullshit is by sharing, wholesome memes like this with this propaganda sprinkled in lightly.

It was probably gluten free as well

If I saw it today, probably yes, lol. I saw Gluten-Free on a package of strawberries recently, though.

Here where i live they routinely put “gluten-free” and “lactose-free” on meat :D

I didn’t see the link in there at first. I removed it so now it’s just anti-farming and, by extension, pro- hunter/gatherer.

Well… depends on the GMO. Copyrighted Monsanto “terminator” seeds that sprout sterile crop is a big no-no in my book.
dickalan@lemmy.world 1 year ago
Yeah, that was not referenced or alluded to in this simple ass meme, try again
thedarkfly@feddit.nl 1 year ago
You’re right that the comic wasn’t targetting specific modifications, just ‘GMO’ as if it was bad in itself.

I don’t want you to get me wrong. I fucking despise GMO perverted into automatically expiring crops, but GMO’s are how we have the food abundance we have today and outright slander against It will not be tolerated by me.
