echodot@feddit.uk 2 weeks agoI didn’t even get the internet until I was 20 and then it was crappy dial-up that used to take 45 minutes to download a single picture.
Na, porn was in magazines and on VHS. I don’t think I really got to see any of that until I was 15, but that was because it was easier to limit access back then.

Porn does not have significant negative effects on your brain or you development. Unless it becomes compulsive or starts having a negative impact on your life, it is perfectly normal and healthy to use porn. Most people who use porn have a healthy relationship with it most of the time - it’s an enjoyable distraction, like watching tv or browsing Lemmy.
