People have always been this weird. These days people fly their freak flags and everyone has to be all “haha gross!”, or “this has awakened something in me”.

Back then you’d hide this from everyone but your partners - sometimes even them - and if you were important, a spook would find out and use it as leverage in a bid for corruption or espionage. Ah, the good old days.
