Comment on Microsoft’s New Xbox Strategy Starts with Windows and Ends with No Console
LandedGentry@lemmy.zip 2 days agoIt’s strange to me that they said that and then in the more recent article walked back that promise but fair enough. I’ve never seen this one before so TIL

That’s because, as I’ve been trying to tell you, they didn’t walk it back. You assumed it meant something that it didn’t.

You know I’ve been pretty polite throughout this conversation yet you continue to kind of be patronizing and needlessly hostile. I thought I was being polite not pointing out the fact that you held onto that article for several comments and could’ve easily ended this earlier on by showing your homework, especially when I specifically asked for it and fully admitted maybe I am out of date on my information, but for some reason you waited all this time and now you’re all angry because you’ve had to have this full on discussion that you basically necessitated.
Either way we are clearly past the point of productivity with this conversation. Thank you for the new information, have a good one.

Not one of my responses was intended to be hostile or patronizing, but tone can be hard to convey via text. I’m sorry if you took it that way. I was merely pointing out that you arrived at a conclusion that they didn’t state definitively in the article we both read.

non-apology apologies are worse than nothing said at all.
no “if.” I did take it that way. So I don’t know what the uncertainty is here.
Have a good one man, I’m not dealing with this anymore. Congratulations, it took you nearly 10 comments of kind of being a low-key dick and linking an article at the very end to show you were correct. I hope it brings you a lot of joy and satisfaction.
