Comment on If we replace most plastic with a non plastic alternative and would that really be better?
shalafi@lemmy.world 1 week agoTry 40 years ago. My dumbass sister was advocating for plastic bags, as if we were chopping down old growth forests for fucking paper.
Forestry is an awesome practice, and we’re damned good at it. I’d advocate for waxed paper in place of plastic.
