Currently watching James May: Our Man InâŚJapan, Italy and India. This is not your typical travel show. He doesnât do tourist spots. He does the unusual and interesting places with lots of facts. Itâs on Prime if anyone is interested.

I watched a few episodes and came to the conclusion that as much as I like James May, he just doesnât have enough charm to carry an entire show by himself.
Itâs good how they avoided the main stuff and off the beaten path though.

I think he does alright. Heâs definitely a lot more relaxed in the Italy series.

He was trying too hard in the Japan one. It almost seemed like it wasnât âhimâ.
Maybe iâll try the rest of the series.
