I can only speak for Europe, but your bank won’t do shit, if you claim that you accidentally sent the money to the wrong person, all they do is connect you to the account owner so you can ask them to return the money and if they don’t you have to go through court.

you can do chargebacks in the UK if you can convince your bank manager you were stiffed
Also credit cards are easier to do this with, it’s part of the service
