  Some people want to see/show off the logo. Off-brand cases can’t have the Apple logo on them, so it’s a compromise of sorts.

  If it was for cooling it would be off center where the CPU actually is. This is just for “style”

    i have a loooot of criticisms for apple, but this is just being a hater because some people treat phones as status symbols.

      Lots of phones use the aluminum body as a heat sink, so it kind of is how it works.
