  How is the OS unusable when you can always install a custom rom?

  Fairphone even encourages it.

    Didn’t know that but I’ve not rooted in quite some years because Google actively opposes it and not everything works as well. But good point. I do however stand by my hardware point. Wish they made a premium Fairphone.
