In New York City you get inspectors boarding busses doing similar, at least when Select Bus Service routes were being rolled out

iamtherealwalrus@lemmy.world 10 months agoNot sure what country OP is in, but here in Copenhagen, Denmark they have ticket inspectors boarding busses at seemingly random stops, validating everyone’s tickets, and then leave the bus again.

USA, so my familiarity with functional public transport is shakey at best.
