Dude natural flow of conversation. It’s yet another show that dragged on too long.
I stopped watching Archer after the dream sequences cause I actually thought they could have a great ending where he never woke back up and he finally did all the right things and sacrifice himself. That did not happen and now they had lost important cast members.
Shows need to have an end and xfiles should be a great lesson for any other show that ends are bitter but can give meaning. But then someone has to figure out new ways to make money.
I will say this makes me think I should delete ofd my hard drive any season past 5 for x files now cause I never even get that high and it seems bad if this is how passionate you were about it.

Lol thanks but seriously, I think seasons 6 & 7 are fine. There’s a lot of good episodes there! It’s just the turning point where the series started having a lot of bad/forgettable episodes. 8 & 9 on the other hand do nothing for me and should probably be skipped.
The reboot seasons (10 and 11) from 2016 are mostly misses EXCEPT for two episodes written and directed by Darin Morgan. S10E03 “Mulder and Scully Meet the Were-Monster” and S11E04 “The Lost Art of Forehead Sweat”. They’re both comedic MoTW episodes and hold their own against the best comedic MoTW episodes from the original series. I highly recommend any X-Files fans who didn’t give the rival a chance watch those two specific episodes. They’re classic X-Files stories.

Dude thank you for the fantastic write up on episode suggestions cause now I might look specifically for those late Morgan episodes.
