Interesting! If you confirm this, that’s a good reason for me to look into getting a Shapton 12k. I’ll keep an eye out for your comparisons

Not sure that this had anything to do with my honing: the Parker is lighter and hollower - and yesterday, I was tired when shaving.
But let that not be in the way of acquiring a Shapton 12k!

That should influence smoothness. My Wade and Butcher and Friodur wedges are beautifully smooth
