Comment on After ‘Suits’ and ‘Royal Pains,’ It’s ‘Psych’s Turn for a Potential Revival

The psych movies are fun, so I’m glad they weren’t talking about a show.
But the article mentions the idea of a Monk revival, to which I say no.
The show’s ending was perfect, and the movie was a good enough fit. But Monk deserves that ending. It’s not a show, or a character, that’s going to work if revived, even with another movie. Let us keep that ending.

I thought he was fantastic (as were all the actors) in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

A coworker was trying to get me to watch The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel when it first premiered, but at the time I was leery of shows with just a first season - it’s just disappointing to have a good show cancelled after just one season. I never got around to watching it, I’m going to queue that up for this weekend, thanks for the suggestion!

I wouldn’t call it a 'revival." As the article itself states there have been 3 follow on movies, which I enjoyed, and I hope everyone else did too. I fully expected there to be more movies as long as all/most of the original actors are on-board…well at least Shawn, Gus, and Lassie, and maybe Juliette, and McNab.
Pysch was always a nice 40+ minute pressure release from an otherwise stressful time

Amen to that, psych was a show I could always get some laughs from, even when things were horrible irl. Monk too (and I am a Shaloub fan beyond Monk, so thank you )
