the ending is a great joke (a literal cop out) but I agree it isn’t all that fun to watch. it (purposely) is very anticlimactic. even with all the shenanigans going on thru the movie, it still has the main plot of Arthur finding the Grail. people want resolution to that even if it’s a weak joke, for example
