  Yeah ok, as if communism and fascism don’t both join up in the middle of the horseshoe extremes in the end. Different corrupted ideologies, same results for the people.

    While bloomcole is a laughable clown, horseshoe theory is a pretty silly theory when you get in to the details. Communism itself does not turn in to fascism. Fascist authoritarians from history have simply stolen its language to convince rubes to give them power. Any actual communist should never herald any authoritarian.

    Again, not defending the clown, but commenting on the silly horseshoe theory. The only people it holds true for are idiots that still love authority. (which the clown might be such a rube)

      You realise a horseshoe doesn’t touch at the tips… right? It’s a theory of extremes being similar, but different in key aspects due to being on opposite sides. It’s not hard to understand and is a theory taught in history courses.

        By subscribing to the horseshoe theory, you are implying that communism/socialism literally ARE headed toward the same place as fascism, instead of having been merely userped by authoritarians and the powerful. That is completely ignorant to the very intent of those political ideologies…
