  I mean, it’s unverifiable and unenforceable. Personally, I wouldn’t sign up for anything that requires identifying myself like that. I can just loom at someone’s comment history to see if they’re strongly pro or anti tolerance. As it stands, this has as much value as as North Korea calling themselves democratic.

        The point is not to make you reveal your gender, but to make you explicitly choose a gender, thus normalising the idea that gender should not be assumed. Transphobes will object to this and get banned. At least, that’s the theory.
