I’ve decided that linking poes law is enough. If people can’t sense something peculiar with a hint that large, it’s on them. You seem to understand that my joke was derivative of yours, so my explanation was aimed at explaining why I linked the article, rather than the article itself

I wish I could say I understood the derivative joke, but yes I see it’s derivate now. I too am autistic. It’s fun isn’t it? I have trouble understanding simple concepts through text. Poe’s law is dope.

So long as it inspires a question in the audience I’m specifically targeting, I’m not just satisfied, I’m downright chuffed! But, to clarify, the joke was the same premise as yours. Utilize a pleasant comparison to produce abject horror. Dogs and makeup shouldn’t be men, or vice versa.
