That’s a good point about Gaitok. When we look at Piper, she has this belief of who she wants to be, but when she honestly tries it, she kinda hates it. We look at Belinda who believes herself to be a good and moral person. However for enough money, maybe those morals aren’t as important. There are similar conundrums for other characters, including Gaitok. I think there is a lot of “giving in”, but I’m not confident those characters will actually be happy. Rick gave in and look what happened to him.
