It’s more difficult for women to get accurately diagnosed, so I apologize in advance for that disparity. It’s not fair, it’s not right, but it is something you should keep in mind. That being said, it’s not impossible to get an accurate diagnosis, effective treatment, and live a better life, you’re just going to have to work for it. Now that you’re an adult you can at least be your own advocate. You can look up resources and schedule appointments, and something should come of it eventually
