Skavau@lemm.ee 5 weeks agoSorry, I agree with /u/GrumpyDuckling here. The pacing of S02E08 didn’t work at all, and what we learned didn’t actually seem especially interesting. It also seems shoehorned in as she didn’t give the vibes of being that at all in Season 1.

Huh? My objection to the episode’s writing has nothing to do with Severance releasing weekly.
Sure, I’m speculating. At this point, I think it was shoehorned in and didn’t seem consistent with Cobel’s role in the company and behaviour in the company in S01. I also don’t think it was well done.

I can’t speak for you, but the impression I get is that people were expecting workplace hijinks, and are upset that they got context, backstory and character development.
