it's possible to DIY an EV, that might save headaches for anyone who wants an EV
the big cost is simply batteries

You also really need to learn some electrical safety, because if you don't know what you're doing you'll only mess up once. If I recall correctly, the power rail is a few hundred volts.

tru idk I read a little about how to do it, didn't see any major warning signs. probably just danger with how you hook up batteries I guess.
