can@sh.itjust.works 2 weeks agoIf you have maybe ten thing sin mind to start you could spread those out over a week or two and hopefully if it’s something you’re passionate about you can continue to add to that list. That’s how I’ve been able to grow some of mine. And I continue to be surprised how often that leads to at least one other user posting something fairly quickly.
Like anything consistency is key. Mor people are joking the platform all the time and many people browse all by Scaled or New.

Me too, also because I want to stay in Lemmy but gotta be honest the amount of content, at least the content I am looking for, I miss it a lot

Give it time. Continue to contribute here when you can and try to only passively view reddit for those niches. I see the trajectory of this corner of the fediverse (lemmy/mbin/piefed, etc.) and I believe it can only grow. It’s come a lomg way since I joined.
