Comment on Movie theaters are trying everything to bring audiences back — from pickleball to cocktail bars

I might be more inclined to go to the cinema if the employees would ever actually do something about noisy children on their phones during the show. But instead, we pay an arm and a leg for tickets and popcorn, then we have to sit through 20 minutes of commercials, and then instead of a real movie, it’s just boring ass CGI action sequences.

I really wish the Drafthouse would expand nation wide no commercials and disturbing people all it takes is putting up a card and they are gone. Plus $5 movie tickets.

All the lights in the seats are the worst part of drafthouse though. Or moreso the prerolls spoil movies or atleast did for me and alien, which I hadn’t seen. Because they ran a behind the scenes thing for prometheus that showed a bunch of the climax scenes from the first which was ridiculous.
