RowRowRowYourBot@sh.itjust.works 1 year agoThe counterculture was very small. Nixon’s approval ratings were high throughout the 1960s and only take a dive when we find out about Watergate. The fact is America was never particularly left leaning.

Absolutely. Also, a lot of people who were slightly left of center snapped right back after Kent State shootings showed them which side had the guns.
