I’ve done applications to two dropshipping places and two wholesale marketplaces. They’ll probably just approve me and I can start ordering things from them as well.
Having an ABN reminds me of a quote from Mat Damon’s character in 30 Rock, ‘It’s a pilot’s uniform, you walk fast enough people just let you into anywhere’.

Honestly, I think the ‘approval’ process for these places is you can fill out all the required fields on the form and the ABN supplied matches when they look it up, just so they know it’s not a random bunch of numbers
