CarbonIceDragon@pawb.social 8 months agoI kinda wonder how myths along the lines of “say this supernatural creature’s name and it’ll get summoned to you” end up surviving through generations. Like, one would think it should be really easy to verify that.

In the age of smartphones with cameras the same could be said about supernatural sightings in general. I mean if there really were ghosts, werewolves, whatever someone would have them on “tape” sooner or later. But for whatever reason (cough) it’s only ever hear-say and/or footage in the quality of 1990s security cams. Weird…

Maybe they can only be captured through analog processes.
You've got a better chance of actually catching a picture of a ghost on a Polaroid than on a cell phone.
And aside from that, digital cameras typically have like infrared filters over the lenses because otherwise they would pick up too much "noise", so suffice it to say that we are absolutely surrounded by ghosts.
