Wow, what an honor to post this as the champion of such a grueling, demanding, and unexpectedly cutthroat Wetshaving contest!

First, let me say, this was no easy feat. Every day, not knowing if we would continue to lather in glory or fall victim to the cruel hand of the Latherbot. One day, it’s a luxurious tallow-based soap with a scent profile so complex even a sommelier could weep; the next, you’re staring down a puck of unknown origin that smells like regret and desperation. And yet, we persisted!

To my fellow competitors—you are all champions in my eyes. Your dedication to the game, the mad flourish of combing through scent notes, and digging out buried soaps just to secure a perfect shave all while under the pressure of soap roulette—I salute you! Some of you were taken too soon due to the early onslaught of obscure unobtainium. And to those who were tragically disqualified for using the wrong variations of citrus—I applaud your valiant efforts to stay in the game.

Finally, to the community—thank you for your keen soap policing, your adherence to NDG’s rules, and your relentless pursuit to keep us all on the straight and narrow. You were the true backbone of this competition, and I am equal parts in awe and terrified of you.
