bnaur@lemmy.world 1 week agoAround here the same kind of demographic often likes to replace the ellipsis with “,”. It’s both mind boggling and fascinating and raises so many questions that I’m not really mentally prepared nor qualified to ponder.

I think that’s just a common typo. The difference between '. ’ and ', ’ is hard to spot unless you have good eyesight, and they’re close together on the keyboard
