Comment on Lemmy.world does not load comments sometimes
Carnelian@lemmy.world 1 week agoI see this sometimes as well, I only have one user blocked and I’m pretty sure it’s not them (spam account from the big spam drama. I think LW blocked the instance, even)

Sometimes if a comment is made while the page is up you’ll see it, but then clicking/touching it shows the comments. Or in a very long reply chain, but again you can click those to expand.
I haven’t heard of anyone seeing them permanently while not signed in.

I’ll keep an eye on the behavior, never thought to compare it with the website (otherwise I’m also seeing it in Voyager, same as OP)

Yeah that is very strange, I also have the same setting ticked that way, also due to the text suggesting to keep it that way haha. Left it alone the whole time I’ve been on this account
